    LOCAL KNOW-HOW

Since 1891, the family business Card perpetuates from generation to generation a local know-how: that of manufacturing articles in Pyrenees wool. In the heart of Pays Toy, La Carde promotes wool thanks to a circuit that respects traditions and raw materials.

Un tour circuit allows the curious to understand the stages of this artisanal mechanism. Finally, the shop reveals the pieces once finished: blankets, plaids, quilts, clothes, woolen accessories or yoga items...

    The Factory of Soums

    Soap factory of the Hautes-Pyrénées

At La Fabrique, I design and manufacture natural cosmetics in an artisanal way. As a great enthusiast of wild nature, I gave the soaps the shape and softness of the mountains that surround the soap factory.

La Fabrique des Soums is a creative, ethical, responsible and committed soap factory. It is above all the story of an ecological transition through the development of cold saponified soap, with respect for people and the environment. But it is also the pleasure of the eyes and the softness of the skin for better health.

    Xavier Lecat

    wood turner

A mountain guide, Xavier collects the wood for his creations at the bend of the trails of the Valleys of Gavarnie. It is then in his workshop in Salles, in the Bergons Valley, that he gives a second life to the different species of wood that he has collected during his hikes.

Through his creations, Xavier expresses his taste forwriting by making ballpoint pens, mechanical pencils, rollerballs or nibs. Thanks to the technique of woodturning, various decorative objects have also been created from this workshop with an unobstructed view of the Pyrenees.
