Enduro or all mountain
It is the most common practice, on all types of terrain, uphill and downhill, which combines endurance, technique and speed. The material used allows beautiful enduro descents on rough terrain thanks to good front and rear suspensions.
Cross-country or XC
Certainly the most practiced discipline, since you cover a fairly long distance while enjoying nature and the terrain, in hiking mode, on the handlebars of a fairly light mountain bike.
Gravel
It is the most common practice, on all types of terrain, uphill and downhill, which combines endurance, technique and speed. The equipment used allows beautiful enduro descents on rough terrain thanks to good front and rear suspensions.
The Fat Bike
It is a bike suitable for soft terrain: sand, mud but especially snow! These wide tires allow good grip on difficult terrain.
Electric mountain biking, VTTAE or e-MTB
It is the most common practice, on all types of terrain, uphill and downhill, which combines endurance, technique and speed. The equipment used allows beautiful enduro descents on rough terrain thanks to good front and rear suspensions.
Freeride, downhill or DH
Derived from downhill, the idea is to enjoy a completely natural, unmarked space, offering great sensations. The must is the freeride descent of Pic du Midi, accessible by cable car.
1 m of vertical drop, one of the most beautiful freeride descents in the Pyrenees!
