Whether it is snowshoeing amongst the pines or a two day ski touring trip and an overnight in a mountain refuge, the Barèges Valley can be discovered in many different ways. A visit of the Pic du Midi at a height of 2,877m is one of the highlights of any holiday, where the view of the Pyrenees is simply magical!
And to keep everyone happy, head for Cieléo, the wellness centre with naturally hot thermal waters where massage jets and bubble baths are sure to offer maximum relaxation.
To soak up more of this Pyrenean spirit, head for the small villages that line the Bastan River.
Accessible by car or on foot on the refurbished old roads they offer a sunny and beautiful view of the valley.
Their cobbled streets and their local churches are definitely worth a visit!
