About us

Atypical and surprising place where freedom wants to be law, where artistic creation is philosophy, where nature and culture agree marvelously the house of the National park and the valley is a structure at the service of all and local development.

For more than 30 years, the Maison du Parc national et de la vallée has developed with and for its users and proudly displays its cultural identity: today people share it in the shade of its vaults or in the auditorium of beautiful discoveries and convivial moments.

The auditorium and cinema is the heart of the House. Its very beautiful structure and its stone walls make it an intimate place full of beautiful emotions.

Alongside live performance and cinema, spaces for sharing have developed: the media library and the cyber-base.

A reception and information area allows you to consult documentation on the Pyrenees National Park, the natural and cultural riches of the valleys of the National Park, hiking routes, refuges, fauna, flora and regulations.

Support for ICT, development of participatory web 2.0 tools, pleasure of reading, pleasure of seeing and receiving, pleasure of discovering, welcoming artists in residence... A long militant and persevering path to say that in the end it's good through culture that each of us can be nourished and accomplished and that it is an essential axis for a territory.
