PASSES RESERVED FOR CYCLISTS FROM 9 A.M. TO 12 P.M.
For 5 days, access roads to the passes will be closed to motorized traffic and entirely reserved for cyclists from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. The circulation of vehicles will be prohibited on the way up or down by a temporary traffic order.
From July 15 to 19, in the wheel of Tour de France riders, pedal as you please on the reserved passes of the Pyrenees!
On the menu every day, from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m., 1, 2, 3 passes where traffic is prohibited for cars.
An extraordinary week to ride at your own pace with a choice of 10 passes and more than 100 km of ascents reserved for cyclists.

Practical information: no registration, free, at the bottom of the pass: welcome, information and encouragement, at the top of the pass: refreshments, souvenirs and stamped passport before going back down.

Today's climb: from Barèges Tournaboup to the Pont de la Mandia (La Mongie) via the Col du Tourmalet.
Distance: 19 km.
Average slope: 7,47%.
Elevation: 1404 m.
Minimum altitude: 711 m.
Maximum altitude: 2115 m.
Possibility of continuing with the climb of the Col de Luz Ardiden.

The road is reserved for cyclists (temporary traffic stop), however, certain vehicles may exceptionally use the route (organization, emergency services, local residents, etc.).
When going up or down, respect the traffic rules: drive on the right of the road, remain vigilant, control your speed, do not overestimate your strength or abilities.
