Cyclosportive La Pyrénéenne

About us

For this 18th edition, La Pyrénéenne will set up its marquee in Saint Lary Soulan: departure town, for an arrival at Pla d'Adet.
Always jointly organized by the municipalities of Bagnères de Bigorre, Saint Lary and Argelès-Gazost, the general concept remains identical

Two optional cycling courses, as well as exceptionally a third, are offered:
- the 4 valleys and the 4 valleys "Extrême" (option arriving at Pla d'Adet).
- the 2 valleys and the 2 valleys "Solid" (option arriving at Pla d'Adet).

An easy, non-timed route for fans of a leisurely discovery bike ride:
- the cyclorando.
Departure and arrival in the heart of the city. However, the EXTREME and SOLIDE options respectively on the two 4 Vallées and 2 Vallées courses
will take you to Pla d’Adet.
This will be an opportunity to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the victory of Raymond Poulidor, who attacked and released the great Eddy Merckx on July 15, 1974.
Some will remember, others will discover a page of the great history of the Tour De France in our legendary passes of the Hautes-Pyrénées: everyone will experience a great moment.
Without a doubt, you will all be keen to surpass yourself in these 10 km of ascent by passing the bend, the site of the attack and its witness plate. Higher up, you will go ahead of the TDF by discovering the bronze sculpture of our national Poupou which will have recently been installed.
We will open registrations towards the end of November with the update of the presentation site, including the courses, version 2024.
We are waiting for you in large numbers for a new experience like the Pyrenees knows how to offer you.
