Six marked and secured trails are free and open to the public. Trails ranging from 1.5hrs to 6.5hrs (round trip) allow you to progress at your own pace around Gavarnie and Gèdre.

More about... the Gavarnie Cirque route

From the village, this beautiful loop takes you to the Courade plateau at the foot of the famous Gavarnie cirque. The route winds between streams and black pines, in a Nordic ambiance, against a backdrop of this prestigious UNESCO World Heritage site with its frozen waterfalls in shades of blue and white. This is THE MUST DO route!
