Hidden treasures

Even if our lifestyles have changed, we still hold sacred the historic remains in our valley.

During your walks you can admire the Chapel of Our Pious Lady or the chapel of Notre-Dame de Piétat with its breathtaking view, the water mills of Arcizans-Dessus, the surrounding picturesque villages with their wash-houses, calvarys etc. ., barns or shepherds' huts in summer pastures and many more.

Do not miss a visit to the abbey of Saint-Savin where you will be charmed by its Romanesque architecture and peaceful atmosphere in the village.

We recommend you to go from one village to the next to fully immerse yourself in the peaceful atmosphere typical of this corner of the Pyrenees. Be it by car or simply on foot, let yourself be enchanted by these old stones that have safeguarded the soul of these villages!
