So different and complementary, all the ski areas offer surprises and make you discover the Valleys of Gavarnie from another angle.

The Grand Tourmalet is two ski-resorts in one. The legendary col de Tourmalet climbs up each side and you can ski along it at the foot of the Pic du Midi which stands at 2,877 metres above sea-level. Two very different sides : Barèges and its authentic village, La Mongie and its resort at the foot of the slopes. 100 Miles of slopes unfold beneath your skis and with them, a whole new atmosphere.
We love : Skiing through the forest on the Barèges side with friends or family !
The resort of Cauterets has two ski areas: the first is the “Cirque du Lys” at a height of 2,450 meters with a view overlooking the pristine Cambasque valleys. It offers skiing for all levels: freestyle zone, a beginners’ area and competition slopes. The other is the “Pont d’Espagne” in the heart of the Pyrenees National Park, with its Canadian style Nordic ski area and its tracks amongst the pine trees!
We love : the chairlift of Gaube wich serves two alpine ski slopes, for gliding under the fir-trees.
This resort has three faces: Aulian, CLoze & Béderet ! Three very different sections which bring variety and pleasure to skiing. With your skis on, you can ride the edge of the valley of Luz or mount the ridge separating Luz from the valley of Cauterets with an open view of the valley, you will feel like you’re skiing on a cloud over everything.
We love : The Snow Park area and the fun side of the slopes
Wow! … that’s what you’ll say when you’re at the top of the ski slopes looking across at the fabulous and spectacular Cirque de Gavarnie. Facing summits which stand above 3,000 metres, experienced skiers or beginners can climb right up to the top of the resort and ski back down peacefully on Europe’s longest green slope, perfect for learning to ski. The mountain is for everyone!
We love : The longest green slope in Europe, for all level.
Perched overlooking the valley of Argelès-Gazost, Hautacam is the ideal place for children to learn to ski peacefully. You will appreciate the majestic setting of the pine trees which give way to vast expanses of snow on all sides. You will be impressed by the 20km of alpine ski slopes accessible to everyone but also by the nordic zone and its unique panoramic view over the valley.
We love : Enjoy the beautifuls landscapes in a warm atmosphere
