The Vallées de Gavarnie information points are happy to welcome you in optimal health and safety conditions. Your safety and that of our teams is a priority. That is why we have adapted our reception areas, reinforced our sanitary protection and made our teams aware of the need to adopt barrier gestures. For everyone's well-being, we also ask you to apply them. All opening hours are up to date here. Booking with us means having the guarantee of an adapted service. We are committed to advising each of you through personalised support and systematically facilitate free postponement conditions for booked holidays that cannot take place on the scheduled date. Ski areas :

The opening of the ski lifts is deferred and subject to government decisions (see the decree for Gavarnie-Gèdre and the Grand Tourmalet). Only Nordic areas are allowed to open at this time (subject to snow conditions). For more information, see the Nordic Spaces pages:

The ski schools offer ski touring and snowshoe outings, don't hesitate to contact them.

Catering: take-away and/or delivery

Bars, cafés and restaurants will remain closed until at least 20 January.

Outdoor activities 

You can once again enjoy the wide open spaces of our valleys on foot, with snowshoes, by bike or even on ski touring. It is recommended that you do not venture into the mountains without knowledge and skill. The mountain guides and mountain leaders offer supervised outings to discover the mountains in complete safety. Do not hesitate to contact them. Consult the list of activities available here. Skiing... but not only that!
Here, you are bound to find something to satisfy your desire for the great outdoors: hiking, snowshoeing, llama trekking, ski touring, fat bikes, sled dogs, snowmobiles, climbing, paragliding, horse riding, potholing, zip lines, Mountain Luge, guided tours, etc. To find out more, it's this way!

Thermo-ludic centres : 

  • Cieléo - Barèges : Opening of the Beauty and Relaxation Area (modelling, facial beauty, body care, hair removal) on Thursday and Saturday from 2 to 6 pm. Reservation at 05 62 92 68 02. Gift vouchers available online or by phone. To know more about it.
  • Deferred opening : Le Jardin des Bains / Argelès-Gazost, Luzéa / Luz-Saint-Sauveur and Les Bains du Rocher / Cauterets.

 
Accommodation  

Hotels : Hotels in the valleys will be happy to welcome you again, restaurants in hotels will be closed. Some of them will offer Roomservice.
