The information points of the Valleys of Gavarnie are happy to welcome you again from May 3, 2021 in optimal safety conditions. Your safety and that of our teams is a priority. That is why we have adapted our reception areas, reinforced our sanitary protection and made our teams aware of the need to adopt barrier gestures. For everyone's well-being, we also ask you to apply them. All opening hours are up to date here. Booking with us means having the guarantee of an adapted service. We are committed to advising each of you through personalised support and systematically facilitate free postponement conditions for booked holidays that cannot take place on the scheduled date. Cancellation conditions are relaxed with a guarantee of free cancellation on D-1 in the event of new travel restrictions. For more information, please do not hesitate to contact our teams.

Stages of reopening :  

The Government has communicated the main stages of the lifting of restrictions, which we invite you to consult here.

Travel :  
From 3 May 2021, the 10km and inter-regional travel restrictions will be lifted. You will no longer need a certificate to travel during the day. However, the curfew will remain in place.  

From 19 May, the curfew will be postponed to 9pm and businesses will be able to reopen. However, gatherings of more than 10 people remain prohibited.   

From 9 June, the curfew will be postponed to 11pm. 

Finally, from 30 June, the curfew will be lifted.

Thermal spas :   
Thermes of Cauterets: 24 May. Thermes of Barège-Barzun, Argelès-Gazost and Luz-Saint-Sauveur: 31 May. 

Thermoludic areas : 

Luzéa from 9 June to 30 October 2021 from Monday to Saturday from 3pm to 7.30pm (additional opening in the morning from 10am to 12.30pm from 12/07 to 21/08/2021.

Cultural venues : 
From 19 May, reopening of museums, cinemas and theatres with limited capacity. 

Grands Sites Occitanie :
Reopening of the Pic du Midi on 19 May (reservation of time slots to take the cable car on the website www.picdumidi.com ). Opening of the Gaube chairlift: From 13 to 16 May 2021 then from 23 to 25 May.
Opening of the Gaube chairlift + Puntas cable car: 7 days a week from 29 May 2021 until 26 September 2021.

Sports, leisure activities : 
From 19 May, sports activities will resume in indoor and outdoor venues with adapted sanitary protocol. Sports halls will reopen on 9 June.  We therefore advise you to consult the information sheets for each activity and tourist site in the "my travel" section in order to find out about the opening times and the health protocols for each of them. 

- The Mountain Luge in Hautacam: from Thursday 13 May, it will be open on weekends in May and June, from 10am to 12pm and from 1pm to 6pm

- Chloro'Fil Park in Argelès-Gazost: from 19 May

- The Parc animalier des Pyrénées in Ayzac-Ost: from 19 May

- The Hang'Art in Esquièze-Sère: from 19 May  

- The Maisons du Parc national des Pyrénées will open on the morning of Wednesday 19 May 2021 (information, museum areas, projections)

- The "Donjon des Aigles" in Beaucens : 20 june 2021

Restaurants :  
From 19 May, the terraces will be able to reopen (tables of 6 maximum). On 9 June, the cafés and restaurants will reopen (also with a maximum of 6 people per table).  
 

Access to hikes, lakes and refuges :  
The hikes and lakes are accessible to all without any particular restriction as long as the barrier measures are applied. We recommend that you check the opening of the refuges before your departure.

Each sector of activity (accommodation, tourist sites, supervised activities, etc.) is subject to a precise health charter in order to welcome you in optimal safety conditions.
