The marmot, star of the Pyrenees
A photogenic animal par excellence, marmots are easy to observe. Be attentive and listen, his little hiss tells you that he’s around! He roams the meadows in search of flowers, roots and other treats, and likes to hide between the stones where he digs his burrow. Playful and friendly, he amuses young and old and brightens up any hike in the mountains!
