Walks and hikes
The mountain is easily accessible and you do not need to be sporty to enjoy the beautiful views! As soon as you arrive at the top of the Hautacam, you meet with fabulous views: the valley of Argelès-Gazost and its many villages, the Val d'Azun proudly dominated by the Balaïtous peak, the Pibeste massif on one side and the high peaks of Gavarnie and Cauterets on the other ...you never tire of these mountain landscapes.
And if you want to see more, there are many walks available to you: the Isaby Lake, a family walk par excellence, but also the Hautacam mountain ridges, a paradise for cows and sheep, Lakes Ourrec and Bassia... The choice is vast!
The Hautacam Adventure Park promises thrills and fun: Mountain Luge, Devalkart descents or a downhill mountain scooter ride (after a drag lift up the hill). Children, 3+ years can enjoy their own play area filed with inflatables and can move around safely on mini-quads. The older ones can try out Segways and electric mountain bikes and discover this magnificent site at their own pace. Hautacam is also an iconic route for cycling fans.
Focus on ... The Mountain Luge
The Mountain Luge allows you to hit the slopes safely during summer and winter. On a two-seater sled, alone or with a friend, you descend at a speed between 10 to 45 km / h simply by using the brake to control your speed. This comfortable and secure sledge set on rails is a must for the family - thrills and laughter guaranteed! (Children from 3 to 7 years accompanied by an adult)! This activity is also accessible to people with reduced mobility.
