Val d'Azun

From the village of Arrens-Marsous, it takes 20 minutes to reach the Plan d'Aste area after the Tech dam.


Full itinerary

It is the first high mountain lake in Val d'Azun in the Pyrenees National Park, accessible to all the family.

Recommended Walk: from the Tech dam, follow signs for "Lake Suyen". The path climbs gently between the trees, and the lake appears for all to see, in a clear and stoney setting. Round trip takes ca. 1.5 hrs.

Extend your walk: : the more curious walker might wish to continue on after the waterfall to discover a shepherd’s hut built under a large rock, the Toue de Doumblas.
