A cultural and interactive visit...

"Legend tells that a shepherd by the name of Millaris found something white on the mountain, he threw it into the air and it snowed in the Pyrenees."

Discover the history of mankind and the spectacular landscapes of the “Pays des Cirques”area: Gavarnie, Estaubé and Troumouse. It is a fun and interactive route in which you watch an audiovisual show presenting five characters from the area.

... As surprising as it
is enriching!

In a beautiful building on four levels, one learns even more about world heritage, mountain life, agriculture and pastoralism, traditions, water and its uses. These themes are presented in an educational and cultural way to make the visit as surprising as it is enriching!

The self-guided visit lasts about an hour with an audio-guide (French, English or Spanish) which will help you become a whiz on the history of Gavarnie-Gèdre and the practices of its men in the area.

Millaris has the Tourism and Handicap accreditation for all four handicaps.
