About us
The Maison du Val d'Azun brings together both the Maison du Parc National des Pyrénées and the Tourist Office of the Vallées de Gavarnie (branche of the Val d'Azun).
It also houses the municipal library, the cinema, a co-working space and a regional products shop. An eclectic place that welcomes cultural and associative life, in the heart of the village ofArrens-Marsous.
Exhibition and museography:
With museum spaces completely renovated in summer 2022, the Maison du Parc National offers a sensory experience through a journey on a virtual trail to discover the natural environments of our valleys.
The exhibition is broken down into three spaces dedicated to the most emblematic natural environments of our valleys: old mountain forests; summer pastures and open areas; and finally the high mountains.
You will discover the animal and plant species and the fungal kingdom (mushrooms) attached to each of these natural environments.
From the village to the summit, you enter a world of discoveries. You will observe, touch, listen to the heart of this intimate valley.
Free access to the exhibition during opening hours.
Suitable for all audiences.
Groups: guided tours by reservation or self-guided tour.
In season, activities are offered to the public in the Maison du Parc national: screenings-debates, children's activities and workshops, guided tours.
