About us

This will be the 5th edition of the Sky Festival, at the Couraduque pass in Val d'Azun on September 9 and 10, 2023. Get together to fly, hover, twirl, observe, contemplate... and breathe in the fresh air! For a weekend, this event invites you to raise your eyes to the sky - or to have your feet in the void for thrill seekers and enjoy the magnificent setting of Val d'Azun, between the village of 'None and the Col de Couraduque. The Fête du Ciel is free flight linked to the beauty of the landscapes, respect for nature, the flight of birds of prey… The Fête du Ciel is open to everyone with free access.

Saturday 9 September:

In the village of None:
Hot air balloons - long flights / overflight of the Val d'Azun - objective Argelès Gazost.
By reservation only. Meet at 6:00 a.m.
Rando vol organized by the VLPG club.
Meet at 8:00 a.m. Gypaète car park at the entrance to None. Several peaks and drops depending on level and weather conditions.

At the Col de Couraduque from 10 a.m., opening of the festival village:
Free flight area and biodiversity.
Kite-making workshop.
Decoration workshop and initiation to the boomerang.
Balloon exhibition.
The Gardens of the Wind.
Tandem paragliding baptisms. Reservation on site the same day, at take-off.
Leisure paragliding/ hang-gliding flight - All day. Free shuttles between landing and take-off.
Hang glider flying sensation on gantry at stand Delta club 82.
Continuous film projection. "The night of the Icarus, Raptors of the National Park".

Meetings of the day:
10 a.m.: animation at the LPO stand "Flying like an Eagle".
11:00 a.m.: Bird of prey observation workshops with the Pyrenees National Park and the OCL.
14 a.m.: animation at the LPO stand "Flying like an Eagle".
14 p.m.: storytelling walk on the air, the sky and birds of prey, with Gwenaëlle.
15:00 p.m.: Bird of prey observation workshops with the LPO and the Pyrenees National Park.
15:00 p.m.: screening "Against winds and summits - Paragliding across the Pyrenees". Hike flight.
16 p.m.: storytelling walk on the air, the sky and birds of prey, with Gwenaëlle.
17:00 p.m.: conference "Free flight and birds of prey" by the LPO.

Festive Saturday evening:
21 p.m.: flight of luminous balloons. Balloons on sale at the festival reception.
21:30 p.m.: "À la bonheur" in concert in the marquee. Catering at the Col de Couraduque.

Sunday 10 September:
