About us
Ors na Bruma (Bear in the Mist in Occitan) is a certified organic farm-distillery located in Aucun, in Val d’Azun. We produce on approximately 1 hectare aromatic-medicinal plants and small fruits which we transform in our barn-distillery into floral waters, liqueurs & digestives.
The very rich local flora inspired us a lot for the creation of our range of products. For the spirits part, we created a Pastis from Val d'Azun and a verbena liqueur. Other products will complete the range in 2023 (Mint liqueur, Génépi liqueur, Gentian liqueur, Absinthes, etc.). Floral waters (Rose, Cornflower, Immortelle, Chamomile, etc.) are the result of the steam distillation of plants that we cultivate. Finally, we offer herbal syrups and pestos to brighten up your aperitifs.
In the summer, we offer tours and workshops to discover the world of medicinal plants and distillation.
We are passionate about nature and plants. It is important for us to protect this magnificent environment where we are fortunate to live. We seek quality above all and we are committed to offering the most natural products possible. We cultivate around twenty varieties of plants and our harvests are distilled in a copper still respecting the ratio 1/1, i.e. 1kg of plants for 1 liter of floral water.
Pastis du Val d'Azun is an artisanal pastis created from the maceration of plants in organic alcohol. In addition to the traditional star anise, liquorice and cinnamon, we combine the anise scent of Agastache with the powerful flavor of Rosemary to offer you a pastis with the taste of our mountains.
Verbena liqueur is created from a maceration of plants in organic alcohol. A fresh taste of lemon verbena for an aperitif or digestive with unique mountain flavors!
