The flowery mountain

BAREGES

This 12 km hike on the heights of Barèges runs largely through the century-old Capet forest created to protect the valley from avalanches. This 4-hour route begins with a series of switchbacks in the woods. Once you have taken the height, you will observe the beautiful valleys of the Pays Toy.

Along the way, we meet the most beautiful species of wild flowers such asIris of the Pyrenees or lys martagon. The highest point of circuit of the flowery mountain offers a magnificent belvedere over the Ardiden and Néouvielle massifs.

VAL D'AZUN

How about an easy 2-hour hike, in the middle of the mountains? Follow the route the Artigaux barns from the village of Marsous. A 5 km loop will take you along the paths of yesteryear traced by the shepherds. We discover very beautiful pastoral landscapes between ash hedges and traditional barns.
