1 race 1300m D+ for 24 km
92 years ago already... Following the construction of the road from Pic du Midi de Bigorre, in 1930, a walking race was then organized at the beginning of September, for advertising purposes and this was repeated for three years. All sportsmen and mountaineers in the region were invited to participate.
The race offers a route of 24 km for 1300 m of elevation gain between the village of Barèges and the slope of the Pic du Midi.
! Following a municipal decree, access to the pic du midi from the Col de Sencours is strictly prohibited. The route has been modified.
